Peter Vogt
A.K.A. The Campus Career Coach

Peter Vogt (a.k.a. The Campus Career Coach) has counseled hundreds of college students from diverse backgrounds, helping them with a wide range of career planning concerns -- everything from learning about themselves and investigating career opportunities to choosing a college major and landing a satisfying job after graduation. Through his work as a counselor at both the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Whitewater, Wisconsin, and Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, he has developed a helping philosophy that encourages students to explore their abundant career possibilities and challenge the limiting beliefs, assumptions and perceptions they have about themselves and the world of work.

As the President of Career Planning Resources in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Peter now devotes much of his time to writing and speaking about college students and their career development. His articles have appeared in such publications as the National Business Employment Weekly, Managing Your Career, Career Explorer, Career Magazine, Student Leader and National On-Campus Report, and he has given presentations about college student career issues at national conferences and college career events. He is also the founder and editor of The Career Services Kiva, a comprehensive news and information Web site for college and university career-services professionals around the world who work every day to assist students in need of career guidance.
